I actually have two dudes: my 5 month old baby, BabyL, and my Hubby.
I don't like cooking. In fact, I will do the most loathsome household chore (like scrubbing toilets) rather than cook. I find cooking a waste of time and frustrating at the best of times. From the start of prepping for a meal until you've washed the last dish, should only be a half hour. I don't want to spend more time cooking than that. (I know, dream on!) However, I had promised Hubby a long time ago that I would learn to cook.
So this blog is more about my road towards culinary competence than it is about cooking. This also won't be a real food blog per se, although it may become one over time. I'm hoping to post some recipes, my triumphs as well as my failures. There may also be a few plugs or censors of certain foodie products, as well as other comments that float around in my head. At least that's how it's evolving in my mind right now.
Up until this point, BabyL has ingested only the following: breast milk, Children's Tylenol (White Grape, Dye-Free), Vitamin D drops and saline solution. The saline solution is not intentional, we only use it to help remove any snot from his nose, but it still can get down his throat.
As my main task in life right now is to take care of my baby (I'm still on mat leave), you will see a progression of what I've been feeding my baby as well. As my kid grows, so will my sophistication with cooking. Well, that is the plan at any rate. And that's what this blog is really about.
Wish me luck!

If you look up easy/simple/quick recipes online (eg. google, facebook, etc) then I swear you will find some palatable recipes that are super easy to make. It is so rewarding when a meal comes out the way it was intended!
